I purchased a TOSHIBA S149 laptop computer for my parents for Christmas. The only reason I purchased it was because there was a $400 rebate listed on the CompUSA website.

I ALMOST missed the deadline because I didn't pay attention to the date. I was going to wait until Saturday to mail it when I noticed that the cutoff date was January 14. I swallowed hard and was extremely happy that I hadn't waited for another day or I would have missed the deadline.

I filled out all of the materials and took it to the post office and mailed it beforey they closed, thus making the deadline of January 14.

I received a notification in my email today (February 18) that my claim had been denied because the postmark was on January 15. This was NOT the case which is why I am submitting this report.
