I purchased a Smart Modular 128MB Secure Digital memory card which was eligible for $20 rebate from ecost.com at 12/28. I mailed out the completed rebate form with the required materials on 1/4 which was within the required postmark date. It was clearly indicated on the rebate form that ecost was one of the eligible participating store and the purchased was within the promotion period (11/15 - 12/31). They denied my rebate request saying that ecost was not a participating store. They sent me no notification when they denied my rebate eventhough I put down my email address on the rebate form for rebate status notification. Until recently (more than 6 months later) when I checked my rebate status, this came to my eye. I checked with the website indicated on the rebate form for status, then I realized the my rebate was denied for a false reason, and they refused to do anything saying that the rebate was closed. This is a scam, they denied my rebate request even though I meet all rebate requirements.
