I purchased a 19" Kogi monitor from CompUSA in Dec. 2003 primarily because of the $100 rebate offer. The rebate form, copy of sales ticket, etc. Was filled out and submitted to GVision before the deadline date. However, I listed my PO box address instead of my physical address.
The middle of January, I received a post card from them which basically said that they would not accept a PO box and needed the end user address. The instructions were to resubmit the postcard within 30 days with the end user address. I resubmitted as asked with my physical address which is where the monitor is located and remailed the information immediately.
Today is Feb. 16th, and I just received another postcard from them. Now they are saying that I missed the close of the program deadline, and are saying that my actual postmark was 1/28/04.
I plan to look on the Kogi website, to see if their is a customer service dept. Which I can report this too also.
Upon calling this GVision phone number yesterday, the customer service woman was extremely rude, and didn't want to go back through the records to check my original postmark date. I feel the whole situation was a deliberate move on their part!!
