CVS Caremark
CVS Caremark is terrible company

I am at my wits end, I am forced to deal with CVS Caremark through our insurance provider. I have been trying to get the scripts corrected with the help of my doctorfor a year now. CVS will only send me a 90 day supply of the insulin (which is to stay cold) they only send me a 30 day supply and then blame it on the doctor's script that it is what they were sent. I have copies of all of the faxes of scripts that my doctor has sent to CVS and they all clearly state the dosage and how many times a day and that I need a 90 day supply. This has been going on for a year to no avail. The CS at CVS is unwilling to even put any thought into this problem, I only get lies as a cover my butt policy. My doctor has informed me many times that it is illegal for him to write a script with no dosage on it, but CVS keeps telling me that my doc only puts "use as directed" and since CVS doesnt know how much that is they guess. Yes, you heard that right, they said they "GUESS". Anyone ever heard of that crap before? I dont know what to do, I have gone weeks without my insulin because to buy it at the pharm out of pocket is almost $700. This problem is on top of the rediculous excuse for a delivery system.in June, I received my insulin (not enough mind you) and when I opened the box, the frozen ice bag required to keep the med cold was like a bag of water. I called CVS to see why it wasnt overnighted and they told me that they didnt know why but it was sent 2 day and that should be good enough. When I told them it was warm, they told me I couldnt take it and that they would send out a new order. They have a 7-10 day processing before it is even sent. I asked them what I was supposed to do and they told me to buy it from my pharm. Again, the out of pocket cost is something I cant afford. 13 days later I got the new med. They again shipped my last renewal of insulin the same way and we did this all over again. I cant help but think of the cost that this is encruing considering Im sure Im not the only one sending back meds that CVS says they cant use and have to be thrown away. And then today I get a package from CVS out of nowhere and it is my blood pressure meds and they are 1/2 the mg that I have always taken and Im not even due for any meds yet. When I called CVS, they told me they would send me an envelope to send them back to them, more lost cost as these meds will have to be disposed of, the question now is, will I get credited for this medication and will I get the correct dosage when it is due??? I guess we will just have to wait and see
