I am so sick of Caremark thinking they know me and my health better than my doctors!!! My doctors write certain prescriptions for me because that is what they want me to have and that is what the dosage he thinks I need. He has known me for 15 yrs! Caremark takes it upon themselves to change not only the drug but the dosage and instructions! Then they have the audacity to send me a letter saying my doctor had changed it. Bullshit! When my neurologist tells me to take a Parkinson's med. 05 mg 2 times per day and Caremark decides it is cheaper for them to change it to. 10 mg 1 time a day they should legally not be able to get by with it! They didn't go to Medical School! They harrassed my doctor to change it... They need to stop this practice and also get off the doctor's asses! Generics are one thing but to actually change dosage and instructions on something like Parkinson drugs! Same thing happened to my blood pressure meds, which we had tried several to see what worked and what amts worked and now my blood pressure is always 180/102 to 180/110!!! Craziness.
