Hi my name is Tina and I have been royally ripped off. I purchased 2dayslimdown from Momentum Direct and I paid for my trial purchase of $4.97, then when I didn't return the product, my checking account was charged the amount of $49.95, which I was willing to pay because I kept the product.
My checking account was charged an additional $58.93 on or about 2 months after the last withdrawal and now about 22 days later another withdrawal from my checking account was taken for the same amount of $58.93.
I spoke with the people at Momentum Direct at 1-281-356-1400 and they told me that I would be reimbursed for the money anywhere from 2 to 3 business days from this conversation.
I was never reimbursed for the first withdrawal and I called them several times, they gave me another number to call 1-281-356-9939. So I called that number several times, different times of the day also. That number kept referring me to the website. Momentumdirect.net. Which you can not get any customer service through the website.
Then when my checking account was again withdrawn for the second $58.93 I called the bank and they are going to look into getting my money back, but I don't have faith in that. I'll probably wind up paying to have the bank stop Momentum from taking any more money.
I called Momentum again and they said they would notify the manager that was on the floor (whatever that means) of my phone call and they would give him my phone number and I would be getting a call in the next couple of days. Yeah right!
So beware and don't get caught up in something like this. When you think it can't happen to you. Wow, how wrong can you be.
