My Daughter, Stephanine a student in Hawaii, was mislead into a false free offer for free pills online. I was checking my Credit card statement and found a $99.00 charge and asked her about it. She said the product was free but it was not. Its a subscription service which auto bills your account without your knowlege. You are then forced to try to cancel the product Online.
I went to web site and tried to cancel the account and got no response from the company. I then told her to return the product she got and to cancel any future products. She just did this today and returned the pills by registered mail.
I tried to call my Credit Card Company to see if they could do something. I was told I would have to deal with the company first to see if I could get a refund.
I then decided to mail a complaint to the Credit Card Company and to the Lean Life PM with the hope that I could get my money back.
Since I have notified the company by mail and Email if I see anymore future charges I will consider this Mail Fraud and will contact the BBB.org and seek criminal actions against this company.
