I ordered a free sample of two diet products which were mentioned on Oprah. I received the Aqui Berry sample which included a disclaimer that stated I had "14 days to cancel this program otherwise I would be charged monthly for a new supply".
As soon as I received the e-mail with in 10 min of filling out my information for the free trial, I called with of course no one to answer. So I e-mailed them back and asked to have the product discontinued. The reason was because the e-mail stated I would be charged $60.00 a month for the product.
VIT ACAI received another call the next morning, and I told the person at the other end of the phone, to cancel the free trial, and NOT to send me any pills.
Low and behold not only did I receive a monthly supply of the pills, But my card was billed as well.
Two days later there was another charge, for the company live lean. Live lean piggy backed on my card and charged me for a program to help me
lose weight. I never authorized this bill or applied for a membership to this company.
When I called the first company Vit Acai, the lady that answered was Megan # 4866. Megan said I did not call nor did I e-mail them, so I recent the e-mail dated 3-24-09, the exact day I received the e-mail from them.
While I waited for her to receive the e-mail again, to prove I had infact sent it, I called the second piggy back company LIVE LEAN. The person that answered the phone FOR LIVE LEAN WAS Megan # 4866.
I asked Megan # 4866 if she had received the E-mail and she came unglued. Then she hung the phone up on me.
I called LIVE LEAN immediately again and received another woman, that stated, "When you canceled with VIT ACAI, you called them and not us at LIVE LEAN."
AND SHE REFUSED TO REFUND MY MONEY.
Amazing how at both LIVE LEAN AND VIT ACAI the same woman answered, Miss Megan # 4866. I had called two totally different numbers to reach both companies.
They refused to refund my money, and I had to go to the bank, then I filed fraud charges on them, and closed the account.
Later I called the LIVE LEAN COMPANY AND REACHED A MAN THIS TIME. I Wanted to fill this report and I could not find a web site to put in about this company.
This man told me HE WAS NOT allowed to give out that information. After telling him what a fraud company he worked for, he finally came up with a web site called: Fit Future???
Great: So I looked up FIT FUTURE on the net, and walla, over 100 fraud complaints about this company as well.
I never received the free sample, but did receive 2 bills attached to by bank card. Now I am into them for over $100.00
