Complaint / review text:
I placed a first time order with Ashley's Furniture. Wait two weeks for deliver, for them to call me the day before delivery and tell me 2 out of 3 pieces I ordered was ready and would be delivered. Then they stated I would receive the 3rd piece the following week, took off two days to wait for the furniture! When it came time to deliver the 3rd piece the delivery guys said it did not fit in the elevator.
The sales rep in the store stated that if something did not fit in the elevator they could walk it up and it would just be an additional charge, which I was totally fine with, it also stated that in the contract I signed!
Come to find out the delivery men DO NOT WANT TO WALK IT UP, says it's not their job.
I paid $150 for shipping only to have two jerks disrespect me and say they are not doing their job!!!
This is by far the worst service I ever had especially being a first time customer, not a good look. Then the rep at the store said oh just cancel the order. For a business to be okay with losing a customer and any ref I may give them is totally crazy.
Then they said they have to charge me again for any redelivery!!! What a joke this company is.
