Ashley Furniture has the worst delivery and customer service on the planet. When we received our bedroon suite, the footboard of the bed was broken, the drawers in the chest of drawers were jammed and broken, and the guys who delivered the headboard took the footboard back with the headboard posts - so we ended up with two missing posts.
So we put in a request to have them replaced the first week in August.By September 20 they delivered a new footboard, but never sent us the new chest of drawers and the headboard posts were still missing. We called again to check out when we were to receive these and according to customer service, there wasn't any request in the system. So we reordered the parts and chest of drawers, they told us they would be to us in 7 to 10 days.
Three weeks later we get three drawers in the mail and one headboard post! The drawers were stuck in our current piece so we weren't sure how in the world they expected us to replace them. Again called Ashley Furniture and two weeks later finally got our new chest of drawers.
Now it's mid November still no headboard post, we have called customer service, the store manager, our sales rep, and the district manager a total of 31 times. The issue has still not been resolved.
Beware Ashley Furniture's Return Policy - it means they will not deliver what they promised and then just wait until you give up due to their severe customer service and delivery problems.
As of November 14 they currently have 29 complaints with the Better Business Bureau in the past 36 months related to the same issues. I would not doubt that their are 100's more after talking with one of the delivery guys.
Do NOT buy from Ashley Furniture - they will not deliver what you paid for, and if they do, I guarentee that something will be broken or screwed up. Tell your friends!
Message to Ashley Furniture - send me my headboard post and I will remove this complaint. We paid Cash and you are currently ripping us off.
