We bought a Sony Cyber-shot digital still camera model DSC-W370 on May 2 from Best Buy store #688 in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. The camera was intended for intermittent use at special events.
The camera pictures were blurry and the camera was returned to Best Buy for repair on 2/13 and sent out for repair by the Geek Squad. The repair ticket report returned with the camera said they REPAIRED LENS OPERATIONS.
The camera still did not work properly. There were large black bands across he picture. The camera was returned again to Best Buy. The repair ticket dated 3/20 says CHECKS OK! All functions normal at this time,
The next time there was an attempt to use the camera the pictures were blurry and not usable. We returned to Best Buy on August 29. They refused to do anything to fix the lemon of a camera because they said it was now beyond the manufacturers warranty and we did not purchase a Best Buy extended warranty. Our explanation that we brought it back twice while it was within the manufacturers warranty elicited no sympathy.
So we came home stuck with anunusable camera on which we spent good money. We will not buy anything ever from Best Buy.
