Fisher Price Game

I am a 54 yo Grandmother of 4. My first grandson was given a Fisher Price iXL (purchased from Kohl's) from his other Grandmother for Christmas. I purchased a game that goes with it for Christmas from Toys R Us. The game I purchased, Fisher-Price iXL Learning System Software Imaginext Dinosaurs cost $25. Very soon after opening the iXL, it was broken. My Daugther-in-Law returned the Fisher PriceiXL and decided on a different brand. This transaction took place with no difficulty @ Kohl's. My Daughter-in-Law did not even get a chance to download the game I had purchased for him. I gave her my receipt to take the game back but because the wrapper was off, Toys R Us refused to give her a refund or even give her a store credit. I called Toys R Us Corporate Customer Service and all they told me was it was against Corporate policy to refund or return games. I am totally unsatisfied with their response. Since my grandson does not have the Fisher Price iXL the game has no value to us now and he has no usable Christmas gift from me. I am very unhappy with the Customer Service at Toys or Us — and with 4 grandchildren (and growing) I will never purchase anything from them again. I could have purchased the game from Kohl's - who stands behind all their products and asks no questions when returning ANYTHING! ATTN: Grandma's and Grandpa's out there, I recommend shopping @ Kohl's where they care about their customers. I am very unhappy with Toys R Us and will take my business else where.
