Job Order 151-1, Oct 15 - Technician assignment was to clear the snowy picture; found that cable wires in bedroom needed to be change and call in that order.
Job Order 690-32, Oct 17 - Technician was to re-run outlet wires into bedroom to 2nd cable wiring.
The technician did not run the wires in to the bedroom.
In fact, he tried to hook up the 60-inch TV in the family room to cable and electrical system shorted out the family room TV.
#1-I called and cancelled this appointment because he did not report during the hours scheduled by the order.
#2-When he arrived late at my home. I had gone back to work.
My daughter, not knowing that Id cancelled the appointment, let technician in and he tried to hook up and manipulated the 60-inch TV in the Family Room.
The Family Room TV has not played since.
We had the TV checked by Phillips TV Service, its maker.
The specialist informed us that it would cost about $1000 to repair our family room TV by replacing its main circuit board (the TV is still in the repair shop).
The main circuit board was shorted out/damaged when the Comcast technician tried to hook up the cable wire directly into the 60-inch TV that was also hooked up to DIRECT Satellite TV.
Also, the surround receiver system (Cost $1200) was damaged and it has not worked since OCT 17.
The service order was NOT for the family room TV as it was working well.
The service order was for the bedroom cable wiring replacement. This service was never provided as requested.
Request that Comcast Cable Vision pay for the damage to our 60-inch screen TV and Surround system.
