Our saga began with the purchase of a cable card and took about 4 visits over 3 months by service technicians to fix. We also have a TV with a regular cable box that was not working and took a couple of times to replace. As frustrating as this is - it is not why I am complaining. Since Aug. Or so we have been billed for a extra cable that we do not have because it was malfunctioning and the service technician took it with him. We were also billed for the cable card which took 3 months to get working. I have tried many times to get it corrected with customer service and they are only willing to put a "search" on the missing box but keep billing us. They also told me the service technicians don't keep track of equipment and it is probably in someone elses living room and never to let the service technician take anything. Each time I call, I spend thirty minutes only to find out the nothing was done since the last time I called. Most recently I've tried to talk with supervisors and have left at least 3 message with no call back. Meanwile I am racking up late fees and am billed for services I do not have. And this is the short version. Bottom line, if you don't have a lot of free time to sort out the problems you will have - Comcast is probably not for you.
