Virgin Mobile offered a better plan of service than Bell Canada, so I cancelled my month-to-month plan with Bell.
Bell informed me a final bill would be sent in the mail.
The bill came and was paid.
A month later, another bill arrived, apparently for unpaid charges of $6.96. I had already sent them $10.26, believing that was the balance owed, so an overpayment of $3.30 was made.
A month later, another bill arrived, outlining that;
Previous amount due: $6.96
Payment recieved: $-10.26
Credit Balance $ -3.30
Instead of sending me a refund, Bell simply kept the difference, after alloting a random 'other charge' to the bill;
