I purchased a Toshiba computer from Best Buys in Visalia, CA. Last month the hard drive crashed I took it into the store, they sent it to the manufacturer for a new hard drive, which was covered under warranty. The computer came back and they asked for my backup, I felt good that they had provided me with a back upp discs when I purchased the computer. But that feeling turned very upsetting today when they told me their recovery discs didn't work. Now I feel that they should accept responsiblity for this. I spoke with the manager he told me that I would have to call Toshiba for a backup disc. My question was why they couldn't get that themselves, he stated they don't provide that service. Well they sure should. Im the one who is being inconvenced. I asked to speak with the manager's manager, he gave me first name 'Jacob' and stated he was in a meeting. I told him to tell 'Jacob' I would call back. I called back and as told Jacob had left the building. So i ASKED FOR THE NUMBER TO CORPORATE, called and received a run around. After spending 30 min waiting I finally hung up. I called Toshiba and in order for me to order I need the serial number that Best Buy's geek squad has, I tried calling back again but there was NO answer.

I request Best Buy to get the recovery disc from Toshiba install and return my computer to me, complete with the information I paid $100 for the backup they did before sending it for the hard drive.

I need help, any suggestions?
