I sent a money order off to the Tiger Direct office in Florida for a motherboard/cpu combo with delivery confirmation. I sent the money order on 4/13, and it was signed for on 4/15. I have called repeteadly up until yesterday and all I ever got from a representitive was they haven't recieved the mail order. Well yesterday they finally put on the website that they recieved my order (12 days after they had received it) but it says "Please Call - This order is on hold, pending customer response. Please call 1.800.888.4437 to expedite your order processing." So I call customer service and they say they received the order, but there was no money order in the envelope. He kept insisting that I provide them with proof that they received it, but a signature on delivery confirmation wasn't enough proof, I had to provide proof they received the money order, not just a letter. WHAT?! How the h*l do I provide more proof, am I supposed to fly it down to Florida and hand it to them personally? Maybe get a CT Scan of the money order inside of the sealed envelope? The money order was in with the order, you get the order, you got the money order. They were in the same envelope, come on.
I placed a different order online through Tiger Direct with a credit card on 4/21 and it showed up at my door today.
I guess with Tiger Direct they steal your money orders. Just filed a report with the USPS on the money order to have it tracked.
