I purchased a digital camera on 12/18/03 from gateway internet site. I received the camera on 12/23/03. It didn't work, no power. I called Tech-Support on 12/23/03.
Tech-Support ordered a replacement camera on 12/23/03. Since then I am now on the 5th order for a replacement camera. Each time the delivery date arrives I contact Gateway Customer Service and they say their is a tecnical problem with the order and they place a new order.
The Shipping Dept. Shows the orders as Backordered. The Customer Service Dept. Says Their is a Technical Problem with the current order.
I contacted the Sales Dept on Live-Chat they said the model I ordered was available for immediate delivery. The 3rd order arrived at my house but no camera only the return shipping label for the original camera. Customer Service said to ignore this order. Now the deliver date is out to 1/21/04
When they placed the 5th order they said all previous orders have been cancelled except the shipping Dept. Shows both order 4 and 5 as active and both backordered.
Customer Service ignores several request for returning the camera and getting a refund. I sent a Registered letter to the Senior Vice President of Customer Service a week ago so far it's been ignored
