I bought a NEW Konica Minolta Dimage X1 camera online from Prestige Camera. I was shipped a USED camera. When I called and attempted to get a return authorization, customer service refused to let me return the USED camera and ship me a NEW one without demanding I pay $20 for shipping and $65 for returing the USED camera. Why should I pay anything when they substituted a USED camera for a NEW one? Further, Pretige Camera charged me the price listed on their website for a NEW camera but shipped ne a USED one.
The customer service people were rude, pushy, combative and condescending. Talking to them was a miserable experience and not reflective of what I expected of a quality customer service organization. Their singular purpose was to stop me from returning the camera not solving the problem.
