We recently took back a lawnmower with the extended warranty to be repaired. I called later in the week to check on the status. They had told us at the time that Home Depot would get back to us shortly to determine if it needed replacing/repairing. After over 30 minutes on the phone, they finally figured out that it had not even left the store. I had to go through four people and finally asked for the manager. One of the customer service agents actually hung up on me! I wasn't even that mad yet! Now I am boiling. All they said was we are sorry for the mix up. That was it. We will NEVER buy anything of substance from Home Depot. They need to train their staff and also offer customers compensation when they screw up.instead I was quoted their standard procedure and told to wait.
