Ryobi trimmer under warranty, asked to pay 35.00 for repair

I just got back from Home Depot, the one on 441 and Glades Rd., where I bought a Ryobi string trimmer in February. I used it maybe once or twice, and the head where the string goes broke. So I took it back to see what could be done with it. I found out that I have to pay 35.00 dollars for them to send it out to get fixed, and the thing is still under warranty.

The other thing is that there was only one person at the service desk when I got there, and a lot of people were waiting. Then someone came over to help, but she had no clue how to do the kind of service I needed, so I had to wait for the only other person who was there. I spoke to a lot of people who were waiting with me, and they all said that Home Depot needs to train its staff better. I can't understand how a business can run like that.

I also feel that if something is under warranty, the business should cover any and all costs to either fix it, give the customer a new one, or give the money back. I had a bad experience.
