I bought the Best Buy extended warranty with Geek Squad repair for my Whirlpool dishwasher and the dishwasher broke about 2 months ago. Their 'technicians' need to visit each time to 'evaluate' the repair, and then return to perform the service. It appears that they randomly pick the most likely parts that need repair and replace them.in the process of three (plus 3 evaluations) visits, they failed to repair the dishwasher, but managed to leave the water line reattached poorly, soak the underlayment in the kitchen, and left the drain hose without the air-gap loop so that the sink drained into the dishwasher and onto the floor after the third repair attempt. Their attempts at service did not appear to work at all. Give them 7 attempts, and they'll give you a new one to fulfill their obligation under the extended warranty.

I have had experience as a computer, arcade, telephone, and theatrical equipment repair person in some of my careers and I'm ashamed to admit I let them screw it up that bad...
The company's attempts at customer service after the fact have been marginal attempts. Don't forget when you go to the store at the end of your nightmare to get another dishwasher to bring in the old "Junkout" dishwasher, even though no one in service tells you to bring it along, as if you'd think to ask yourself in advance.
