We purchased our newly built home from Meritage homes and were given GE appliances. After 8 months, I discovered a small leak was coming from the dishwasher since install. All our cabinets needed fix/replace, dryers, electric bill increases... And 5 visits from GE repair without resolution. The dishwasher is still leaking after replacing parts over and over. Worst part besides the fact that I will lose my Job after needing to take off so much time for their 8 hour window visits, is that despite all the damage, they will not replace the dishwasher. A lousy $300 that is costing over 3K to fix. The last technician checked the dishwasher, found another leak and then just left it... Still leaking/dripping. More cabinet work.
I have always depended on GE, but after this horrible customer service?!!
In addition, GE wants to blame the installers for the damage. Really, GE hired their own installers.
Do Not Buy GE!!!
