Dell, dell computer dell cancellation policy violates federal laws

Dell Now attempts to Violate Federal Trade Commission Laws which allow you 72 hours
(All 72 Hours must be a Business day) Saturday is a business day too in which to Cancel your order for Accesorries.

Ordered TV set from DELL.com on a Friday evening of a Holiday weekend Monday is the holiday. I have until Wednesday MIdnight per FTC laws to CANCEL the order.

But According to Dell if they label any order "in Production" even if it is a 3rd Party accesory item that they do NOT make they want to eliminate your right to cancel the order. This is unfair and illegal and VIOLATES FTC LAWS.

DELL now has moved all of its Customer Care lines to India or the Phillipines which further exacerbates the problem. People outside the USA do NOT follow US laws.

So you have no way to contact DELL in US so you can follow US Laws on Cancellation policies or do you?

My Atty says to contact DELL CSR ask for a Manager and on a recorded line tell them you want to CANCEL. Tell them you have contacted your CC company and have disputed the charges as you have asked them to CANCEL the order PRIOR to SHIPMENT.

If DELL still ships the order REFUSE DELIVERY of ITEM. You have the Legal right to refuse Delivery since you contacted them Prior to Shipment nd prior to 72 hours period after the sale. Dell cannot engage in policies that violate FTC rules and stay in business in USA without fear of litigation by US Attorney General.

My Atty says also to pay using AMEX card, since AMEX has greater pull with these world wide companies then Visa does.

Dell will always try to bend rules against those sheeple who won't fight them, Business is more likely NOT to put up with these type policies. DELL will lose business if they continue to operate this way in the future.

They Now attempt to hit consumers with 15% Restocking Fees by telling Consumers that each order is "in production" no matter how short the time interval between order & attempted Cancellation. This is how DELL will lose Business in the future..
I see now that there stock is priced at 15 and headed downward. With good reasons I am sure. Guess they got away with these "policies" when the President of the USA was from Texas...
