Just got off the phone with Nat L (supervisor at T Mobile in New England). I have been with them for over a decade with 3 phones. I have my phone on call forward to my assistant at all times. I went over to the Bahamas for 3 days last week. I recieved my monthly bill today. I was charged for every call which went to my assistant (located in the USA) as a long distance call from the Bahamas.
Apparantly when my phone is off, there is no problem. However, I did not turn my phone off and had it with me in the event that I needed to use it. Nat L was very nasty and told me that I should have read the term and conditions policy and said there was nothing he could do about the $1300.00 in erroneous charges I picked up when I was in the Bahamas.
He also stated that IF I had called T Mobile to tell them I was going out of the country, this would not have occurred. He also refused to turn me over to his supervisor and hung up on me. I would like Nat to show me the terms and conditions which state that I will NOT be charged for roaming when my call forwarding is on and the phone is off. This is rediculous and is not the type of behaviour I would expect from a major corp like T Mobile.
