I ordered my 2 Dell computers in December. There are several acct. Numbers because I ordered 2 computers and a router. The computers were refurbished. I ordered new computers and that is not what I received. I was not aware of this until I started to have hard drive problems in October. I needed another hard drive. Thats when I found out my laptop computers were refurbished, so was the replacement hard drive. Replacement # 64090626 and case # 115159133. Both computers have electrical problems. I now have a computer that does not even boot.

I spoke with Brenda last week in corporate and she says nothing can be done. I was mislead from the start when I bought these laptop computers and now I have had to buy a new computer (not a Dell) to replace a 1200.00 machine. It has not even been 2 years and I feel Dell should replace my motherboard for me for free. They said it would cost 480.00 plus shipping and handleing. If you check dells website this Inspiron 5160 has had nothing but problems. I am not the only person with problems like this. Also their customer service hung up on me several times. I don't know where else to turn. I don't have cash to throw away on products that don't do what they promise. A computer should last for more than 10 months before it needs service. My sons computer is a Insperon 1000 and he has replace his electrical outlet twice. It was his christmas gift for 2004. Some gift.
