Ripoff Horrible Customer Service Shocking Privacy Invasion Time Waster

I tried to add $15 to my son's cell phone account at Boost Mobile and it took and incredible 45 minutes to do it. Not only did they put me on hold for long periods but they forwarded me to "lost and stolen" phones even though my phone wasn't stolen.

But the worst is this: in order to use my credit card to buy additional time, I had to answer THREE completely privacy invasive questions. 1) What addresses I was "associated with" from a list of 3-4. One was an address I'd lived at 20 years ago! 2) What people was I "associated" with from a list of four male names I'd never heard of; and 3) What counties I'd bought property in. All this in order to use my credit card to charge $15! When I complained about giving about giving out private information, Cassandra (the supervisor) told me that if I didn't answer, I couldn't use my card to "re-boost" the phone. I've never had to give out that kind of information to buy a house— much less spend $15 on a credit card.

When I asked to talk to her supervisor, she told me there was "no one higher than her that a customer could talk to". If she's the highest ranking customer service person, this company really is in trouble.

I'm using the $15 in minutes and NEVER going back. Boost Mobile is a shoddy, horrid customer service, privacy invasive company.
