My son lost his cell phone a Boost Mobile account. Within minutes the individuals that have the phone had changed the phone number and account pin code blocking me from any access. I called Boost Mobile to file a report and was told that the only way they could follow through with this case is if I provide them with the month and year the phone was activated.
Now that would not have been a problem if it was recent, but the phone was activated several years ago. The supervisor named Jose spent at least 15-20 minutes on the phone with me telling me there is nothing they could do about it. I have money on the account that I won't be able to use but the individuals that have my phone will.
My complaint; Boost Mobile does not provide its customers with protection from fraudulent incidents relating to lost or stolen phones when the number and pin are immediately changed. Boost Mobile phones can easily be compromised because they have very little security protection for their consumers.
