On 11/09, I purchased an LG5350 cellular phone from SprintPCS, by calling their 800 number and speaking to one of their representatives. I was told at that time that I was eligible for a $150 rebate on the price of the phone because my current phone was less that 18 months old.
The next day, I went to a local Sprint store and picked up the form needed to apply for the rebate. I attached the original copy of my receipt, filled out the form completely, and mailed it back to Sprint the same day.
On December 30, I received a postcard in the mail from Sprint stating that I am not eligible for the rebate, because I had not applied to Sprint within the required timeframe.
When I purchased the phone, no one mentioned to me that there was a "timeframe" on the rebate. Once again, Sprint has used this dishonest tactic to rip me off, and I want everyone considering buying a Sprint phone to know about it!
