When a buyer would perform a search using ebay search the resultset would only bring items that had paypal as a payment option. I noticed this questionable practice because I am a programmer. What a buyer would have to do to see all the items listed on ebay was, once the results from the search came back, go into the advanced search option on the second tab the only show items using paypal checkbox would have to manually be (unchecked) disabled. The advanced search option was not used in the original search nor was the option selected in the inital search.
A buyer would not know to go back and disable that option unless they were told it was happening. I wonder if ebay told sellers of this practice whne they signed up??? I did send an email concerning this questinalbe practice and noticed the option has been moved to the front of the search results. I still wonder it sellers and buyers are notified of this default setting? I surly has cost some sellers money. YET ebay was getting their monthy selling fees from there sellers.
