Ebay has new policies that are so slanted against the smaller loyal good sellers. Between no negative feedback allowed for buyers policy they instituted in may 08, special sort options for power sellers etc and the dsr system that ranks sellers and can get you suspended because a buyer did not get free shipping and now this.
With no notice, no warning, nothing to hint to a long time seller that suddenly items like coach, and other name brand items are limited how many you may sell per month. Less than 5, worse yet the system lets you list the allowed 4 items and then you can't even edit or revise one of them even moments later. Ebay takes your fees and too bad.
Noticable is the number of power sellers and stores that sell many more than 5 of these items. When you request with 100 percent feedback over 1000 and over 5 years with ebay that these limits be lifted for you first you get no response, then get told no, not why just no. Frankly there is something very not right about the way ebay is currently run.
Not a fair market for anyone, not even the buyer, since what is available to them and what they see when they do a search is being manipulated by ebay. Ultimately the buyer is paying more and getting less because of these new policies which ebay claims are for the safety and protection of the system. I say they are nothing more than to enhance the sales of the large sellers and put us the small sellers out of business.
In these times of economic hardship they are making life even harder for those of us that rely on ebay for pockt money each month but do not sell thousands of dollars worth of stuff. They practically force us to give away shipping and beg buyers for the 5 star rating. Where is the reality of the current feedback system and current sales system. Give us back the old ceo and the old ebay.
