EBay and Paypal are ripping off Sellers that ship internationally under the guise of their new Buyer Protection policy. I have been ripped off by both ebay and paypal for two sales in the last two weeks.
Having sold on ebay for over 10 years, I clearly state in my listings that there is no tracking or insurance for buyers selecting First Class International Shipping, this is available with Priority Mail or Express Mail only (which costs $10.00 or more depending on the country). Most buyers will not pay for the additional service as ebay is now enabling them to easily rip you off by claiming they never received the package.
Even if you produce the shipping receipt from the U.S. Postal Service that shows the Customs Number and the Country you shipped to, both eBay and Paypal simply ignore this and issue a full refund to the Buyer including shipping/handling.
