I purchased a computer monitor from Ecost.com on 10/14/05 (GEM GM-190B 19IN BLACK) and the promotion #G558 offered a $100 rebate on sales from 09/16/05 - 10/15/05. The rebate was only for purchases of the product from Ecost.com.
On 10/20/05, I submitted the required documentation to get the rebate (invoice (#E714502900013, dated 10/14/05), rebate form, and the original serial number label and UPC Bar Code label cut from the box) to the fulfillment company - panacer.com. This was all submitted within 14 days of the date of purchase in accordance with the terms and conditions of the rebate promotion.
It has now been more than seven months since I submitted the rebate claim, and I have not received the $100 rebate. I should have received the rebate within 14-16 weeks after submission of the claim.
I know that the rebate claim was received by the fulfillment company (panacer.com), because when I check my rebate status on panacer's web site, it shows my address, phone number, and e-mail and the status as "Received, Please Check Back" (It has been showing this same status for months).
I have sent the fulfillment co. Several e-mails asking why I have not received the rebate, but have not received a reply. And I have not been able to contact them by phone. I phoned Ecost.com and they told me to fax a copy of the invoice, rebate form, and a copy of the product's serial number label and UPC Bar Code to their rebate issues department @ 972-881-1812 and they would investigate.
Fortunately, I had made a copy of those documents and I faxed them to the number given to me by Ecost. This was done more than a month ago, but I have not received a reply from Ecost.com in regards to getting the $100 rebate due me.
