My wife and I had a bathroom remodeled by Sears last year. We were told it was going to be a 2 week project but it turned out to be 4 weeks. The subcontractor dragged our old tub across our hardwood floors, leaving scratches in a hallway and one of the bedrooms. The lights flicker and 2 bulbs blow within a couple of days of putting new ones in. The room next to the bathroom has damaged walls from the nails coming through. When bringing stuff out of our house he scuiffed the paint on our stairwell walls. We just found out there is a leak from the tub/shower. We notified Sears shortlt after the project was "complete" and were told they would contact the subcontractors insurance company. We finally received a letter from a third party, Sedgwick, stating the insurance company was notified of the situation and we should contact them directly. To no surprise, the insurance company claims they have received nothing from Sears or Sedgwick.
