After a Sears repair tech broke the turn-off valve while fixing my dishwasher, I was told to hire a plumber to fix the leak. When I contacted Sears after that, they told me to pay the plumber and submit the invoice to Sedgwick Claims, who handles reimbursements for Sears. I did both of those things, four months ago. After repeated emails and calls that were not returned by my Sedgwick claims manager, I called Sears again. They put me through to his supervisor, and he finally called me back... While I wasn't home. I am still awaiting reimbursement for the plumber's bill. Sears appears to be paying Sedgwick to purposely do nothing and to avoid paying claims. Since there are so many complaints, it looks like the next step is a small claims court lawsuit and notifying the local media. Someone needs to investigate Sears.
