Water Heater - Sears Appliance repair Service

You will not believe what I just went through during the past 48 hours with SEARS and their Appliance Service.
I ordered their special water heater promotion on Black Friday – buy by noon and have the water heater installed the same day, total value of the order $1,110, incl. Same day installation, because my water heater decided not to heat anymore on Thanksgiving Day. I was told that at 7am on Black Friday, when I placed the order, that a contracted installer will call me within 2 hrs max to discuss the timing for the day.By 3pm, I had not heard anything, by 5pm I called SEARS, they called the contractor, couldn’t get through, his voice mailbox was full. SEARS said that they will send an additional email to the Contractor. At 7pm, I called SEARS again, they didn’t know what to do, except sending another email to the Contractor “Justin” with a 603 number here in NH. Finally, at 8pm, the Contractor called my number, telling me that he just got in, that he reads his emails ONCE a day – after business hours, and that he refuses to buy a mobile device to read emails during the day, even if they are SEARS related and urgent. Since you know me, you can imagine how that discussion went…
Bottom Line: The SEARS Contractor / Installer system has serious flaws and I highly recommend to not using that SEARS system. I cancelled my order and got everything at LOWES here in Gilford. My own contractor of choice here in Gilford will install the unit this Sunday.
