I usually go to a different nearby Monro shop, which I am very happy with, but several years ago I went to the Monro in St. Clairsville, OH. I had some work done, and asked them to change my wiper blades while I was there. When I got in my car to leave after the work was done, first thing I noticed was that my windshield was destroyed. At the spot where the wiper arm connects to the blade housing was the center hub of several cracks, some extending to the edge of my windshield. I immediately took it up with the manager of the shop who claimed that his mechanic did not cause the damage. There were no cracks in my windshield before I got there, and the placing of the cracks suggested that the mechanic had released the arm and it hit the glass. My mom was with me to confirm that the glass was not broken when we got there. The manager got short with me and said that he would not help me if I got upset with him. Well I was obviously upset! He totally dismissed me and I had to pay my insurance deductible of $250 to get my windshield replaced. Like I said, this is ONLY a review of the Monro in St. C, and this did happen years ago. I am nothing but happy with the Monro I use now. But I would not go to that shop again if I was right across the street and my car was on fire.
