I am the owner of a 2000 Dodge Stratus. I went to this Monro location to have my timing belt and water pump replaced. Everything was working fine until I heard a noise coming from the hood it was not that loud and I didn't think anything of it. A couple of days after the work Monro did. I went to a Michel Tires Plus Store to get some estimates to have brake work done on my car. They came up front and asked if I was aware that my timing belt was shredding and I said no, I just had it replaced. They took me into the shop and showed me the timing belt cover and their were pieces of
The belt coming out at the bottom and it was also missing a bolt. I took it back to Monro Muffler Brake and Service and they took it apart and confirmed it was shredding and blamed it on the new tensioner that they installed. Took them about two days to fix.
