I recently went into the Monro shop listed below to get a $15.99 oil change as advertized on the sign out front. I was informed by the manager Dennis that my car had to have synthetic oil put in it. He said He attended company seminars and received company bulletines attesting to this. He also said it would void my warranty if I didn't do it. He said it would be an extra $10.00. After he was done I got a bill for $38.24. It had hidden shop fees on it that weren't advertised on the sign. I relucttantly paid my bill. On the way home I stopped at the dealer where I bought the car and service manager said my car took regular oil not semi sythetic. He also said that if I left it in the car for any length of time I couldn't go back to regular oil or my car may use oil. I called the Monro shop and was told that Dennis was gone for the day and wouldn't return for two days. Needless to say I am very unhappy and will never return to a Monro shop.
