They say: "For fifty bucks, we will look for apartments for you".
Six weeks later, we're still not in an apartment. The only apartment we were shown was one *I* found in the newspaper with this realty company's name listed as the agent! When I called, the realtor said, "I didn't think you'd be interested in that area".
Here's a tip: call me and ask.
And the realtor dealing with us quit, but no one at the office bothered to check up on her contact listings. We found this out a week after the woman left.
"We promise we'll call you back tomorrow with listings."
Nothing. So my fiancee finally becomes the Goddess of War and rips them over the telephone, essentially demanding our money back. They stall every attempt to hand over the money, pleading with us to give them another day, arguing that they did show us apartments and make calls to us. Finally, possibly because I wasn't there, my fiancee gives them a single day.
We find out this Sunday if in fact Century 2000 Realty can keep their word.
I caution anyone: do not use this realty company. Even if they place us, they were one of the worst realtor experiences either of us have had. Absolute incompetence and apathy.
