7-28-07 our broken sectional sofa was delivered from jennifer convertibles, novi store, nick crabb salesperson. I refused to take it and after 35 minutes of not so nice phone calls was convienced my warrenty which cost an addtional $269.99 would cover it. If they can't fix it, they will replace it. I didn't want to repair my brand new furniture! Cost of furniture $1536.99 less 30% restocking fee, less $199.00 delivery-less $260.00 warrenty I had no choice at the point but to take the sofa. Repair man came out within a week, very nice man-could not repair furniture. Submitted paper work for a new sofa, company lost it. He refiled, 9-5-07 replacement furniture was delivered. This time I inspected it in the driveway. Good thing! It had what appeared to be mold on the back of a cream colored fabric sofa -not sure what it was I grabbed a witness and a camera, refused the furniture. They wanted to still take my 1st set of furniture (but not give me a refund) cause they had to deliver it the next day. Ichallenged that statement, the driver then stopped talking to me & called his boss. Are they re-delivering furniture? Is that "replacement" furniture?
Today I contacted the attorney generals office. I want a full 100% refund-maybe even storage fees-cause that is what i'm doing with it. I paid in full, while they continue to sell & take hard working people's money. I would like to see a court order against jc like what happened to them in new york
