If a company is only willing to stand behind their product for 12 months, there is a good reason. I will never recommend Jennifer convertibles and will strongly discourage everyone I know to NOT EVER purchase anything from this company.
Bought a sofa, loveseat and chair in june '07.By April '08 the couch frame had completely broken and poked through the bottom fabric. The company only has 1 service man to service the entire city of Chicago and all suburbs. He showed up late, or sometimes, not at all.
We had to have 3 service calls to Jennifer to fix the same problem within 3 months. It is still broken and they are now refusing to fix the item. Their warrenty only covers the first 12 months. The extended plan will not cover "this particular problem", even if I had purchased it.
Even the service man said Jennifer's furniture was crap and to go with a higher quality of furniture next time. He recommended Crate and Barrel or Walter E Smithe, who has a lifetime guarantee.
