I purchased a sectional sofa in May.in a month's time it fell apart and upon delivery it had glue on one of the arms. They came and inspected it and decided to replace it. I got the second sofa in October.By Dec. 2002 the second sofa was falling apart.
The store finally got around to sending another man to inspect and repair this one also. I had a problem with "repairing" brand new furniture in a month or two after receiving it. I paid almost $2,700 for that sofa and I feel I shouldn't have to go through this with the store.
They refer everything to customer service. Customer service is not who took my money or sold me the cheap furniture. The service man told me this particular sofa made by Benchcraft is bad and will always fall apart and I will have problems. I don't want any "new" furniture that will need constant repair. I want my money back or the opportunity to choose another sofa not made by the same manufacturer. I don't want to go to court but I will if I have to.
Futurama is rip-a-rama furniture store. They sell cheap furniture for high prices and then give the consumer the problem once they have our money. If this is how they conduct business then they need to be closed down. I am just now hearing the horror stories. If I had known this before I purchased from them I would never have stepped foot in the store. I hope someone can help me.
