Edge Precision Tile is untested prior to going on the market, has been ordered to be destroyed and refund promises are NEVER honored

I bought this crap back in June of 06 at Lowes, who is the ONLY seller of this "tile". 2 months later i bought 40 rolls of the underlayment to go with it. All in all I have $900 invested in a product that should never have been on the market and has been pulled from the market by the manufacturer.

A month or so after buying the underlayment, we went online to find the special sawblades that the company says to use with the product. Upon doing so, I find out that the product has not only been pulled from shelves at all stores, but that Lowes has been ordered to DESTROY all remaining product because it is defective and should not be installed EVER.

Unable to find the receipt for the tile (i have the receipt for the underlayment), Lowes told me to go back to Edge flooring for a refund. I did so and spoke with several unfriendly (to say the least) people. The third supervisor in line was a woman named Patricia Andrews. She told me that using the UPC labels she could verify which store the product was sold at and would issue me a refund.
Since I was unwilling to ship 1000sf of tile from Arizona to Geaorgia on my bill, I was instructed by Patricia to cut off each UPC label from each box and send that along with a photo of all the boxes stacked in my residence. I did so.

8 months and many many phone calls later... It took a filing with the BBB to get a response. I spoke with Greta, Kelly and finally with Stacy Long at Edge flooring. They are telling me (like every other time I ahve called) that I do not have any file with them. Now all of a sudden Patricia Andrews does not exist either. They are telling me that there is a replacement only policy and that any refund promised would not be honored because Edge Tile does not give refunds period. They have told me to go back to Lowes and fight with Lowes. The problem with that? I no longer even have UPC labels on my tile boxes! How convenient!!!

Stacy Long (not the owner or even a high-level management position, for the record) absolutely REFUSED to help me or to give me to a spervisor. "All customer Service requests stop with me" is the direct quote from this nasty lady. Although she was supposedly the 3rd supervisor in line, I got the feeling that I was just being passed from secretary to secretary. I was also hung up on once because I argued about her being the be-all-end-all for problem resolutions at the company.

Funny how the higher ups won't even talk to people who are dissatisfied with the only product they sell!!!
If anyone is filing a class-action lawsuit I would absolutely love to be a part of it. This comany is deceitful, immoral, and is scamming people out of their money. I am now $900 in the hole becuase of them and their awful product. Do not buy edge tile ever!!
