On 4/8/02, I purchased a complete bedroom set, and mirrors, and mattress pads. I also purchased the 60 month customer care package. When my furniture arrived, the drawers were warped and not able to close, and the tops of the nightstands and the dressers were peeling, and the headboard was missing a piece of wood.
I immediately called homemakers customer service and scheduled them to immediately come out and pick up this defective merchandise. They came out as scheduled and said that they did not have this set in stock, for them to replace but would call me immediately when it did get back into their stock. I never heard from them again. I called and called. Kept hearing, " someone will call you back".
Well NO ONE ever did. I have been stuck with this defective merchandise, and feel completely ripped off. The furniture cost over $2333.00. Unbelievable. You'd think a company as large as Homemakers would stand behind their agreements.
I just wanted my money back, after the lack of caring I Experienced with this company and would never have purchased anything from them again.
