I purchased a dirt devil carpet cleaner. The machine had a three year warranty. The machine worked good for two years. I used it about 4 times a year. The machine went bad about 2.5 years into the warranty. I took it to a service center. They back dated the warranty to the date of manufacture. I registered the warranty on line when I purchased it. The receipt dissappeared.
The repair shop took 6 weeks to fix it. They claimed the part was on back order.
I used the machine two more times and the machine just plain quit working.
Do yourself a favor do not buy their products. They are cheap and are poorly designed. They are made to fail. The combination of poor design and cheap chinese labor reaps royal appliances big profits and the consumer loses.
I will never buy their products again. Their customer service is a joke. The line is always busy.
