ASHLEY FURNITURE DOES NOT HONOR THEIR WARRENTY - Ashley Signiture bedroom set

Ashley Furniture does NOT honor their warrenty. The salesman told us that our bedroom set was veneer.in reality it is paper which is peeling on the tall dresser and the bed posts. Also the night before we moved I dissassembled the bed and the headboard fell apart. Since it was night time and we were moving the next day I waited until the next day to call Ashley Customer care. Well within the 48 hours required. They sent out a representative to our new address. He stated that he could not fix it but Ashley would replace it. I received a call from Ashley Customer Care. They stated that because we moved that they would not honor the warrenty even though the damage occurred at the address it was delivered to and even though I reported it in 48 hours and even though THEIR representative told me it would be replaced. We went to the Broadview store where we purchased it and spoke with the manager. He said be would talk to his superiors and let us know. He called me back and told me that they would not honor the warrenty again because we moved. He told me if it was up to him that he would replace it. Right now I have an 11 month old bedroom set that is unusable. We are sleeping on the mattress on the floor. The dresser looks like it was purchased at the flea market.in all we spent $4,000 on the bedroom and kitchen set. We want Ashley to honor their warrenty and honor the promise that their own representative made to us and replace the damaged furniture.
