Over the past few years we have purchased several La-Z-Boy items made of leather from this company. Our couch developed a hole in the leather on one of the backrests. We called Homemakers to see about getting it repaired. We knew it was out of warranty and were perfectly willing to pay a reasonable rate to get it fixed. The customer service department told us the cost for the material alone (a 2' X 3' piece of leather) would be $800.00. We then contacted La-Z-Boy who told us that this indeed was too high and to contact Homemakers again. As of this time Homemakers will not return our calls or answer our e-mails.
Also the La-Z-Boy company was of no help whatsoever.
