Leather Protection warranty does not cover defective leather!

Purchased a leather sofa set in 9/7 and in less than 2 years, the leather started peeling all over the two separate sofas. When I reviewed the additional "Guardsman Leather 5-Year Protection" insurance plan coverage I was sold, I was shocked to find that the warranty only covers stains or spot damage, but specifically states it does not cover any manufacturer quality issues such as leather cracking or peeling! Had the peeling occurred on one piece of furniture, I would have thought it was a bad piece of leather, but the peeling is noticeable all over on both Red Leather Sofas, so this is a serious lack of manufacturer quality! We are three adults, no kids, so needless to say the furniture has been taken good care of throughout the short time we have had them. I feel totally ripped off! After spending just over $1000 of my hard earned cash on what I thought was quality furniture that was going to last me several years, I know find myself with dilapidated looking sofas that look 10 years old! I think this is a serious scam, the Badcock store misleads you to think you are buying quality furniture and then sell you a additional Leather Protection for "peace of mind" only to not cover the poor quality of there leather furniture. Why do they call it "Leather Protection" coverage, when it doesn't actually cover the defective leather?
