Printer disappointment - HP Deskjet

I do not like the HP DeskjetD1660 that I purchased. It is LOUD, only works sometimes, and now it says the cartridge is stuck! Will not buy another HP printer. Have had no problems with Dell or Lexmark.
No online HP complaint service... Just keeps me in a loop. Can't help if out of warranty.
